These are great holiday cookies to make for decemBRrrr…
Cool and minty just like the weather outside. mmm…

Here are the recipes and directions
2 Eggs
4 Cups of Flour
1 Cup of Water
2 Cups of Sugar
3/4 Cups of Cocoa
1/2 Cups of Butter
1/2 Cups of Crisco
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
2 Tablespoon of Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/2 Cup of Sour Milk or (alternative) buttermilk

Start by mixing everything except the flour for 2 minutes then add the flour by hand and put it on a greased cookie sheet. Make sure they are about 2 inches apart and bake them for about 8 minutes at 400 degrees. After that, let them cool down and add the frosting.

Frosting Recipe for Peppermint Cookies
4 Cups of Powdered Sugar
1 Cup of Butter
2 Teaspoons of Vanilla
2 Tablespoons of Whole Milk
1/2 Teaspoons of Peppermint Extract
1 1/2 Cup of Crushed Peppermint Candy

Add and mix then spread the frosting on the cookies.
