Here are the recipes and directions
2 Eggs
4 Cups of Flour
1 Cup of Water
2 Cups of Sugar
3/4 Cups of Cocoa
1/2 Cups of Butter
1/2 Cups of Crisco
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
2 Tablespoon of Baking Soda

2 Eggs<br />
4 Cups of Flour<br />
1 Cup of Water<br />
2 Cups of Sugar<br />
3/4 Cups of Cocoa<br />
1/2 Cups of Butter<br />
1/2 Cups of Crisco<br />
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt<br />
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla<br />
2 Tablespoon of Baking Soda<br />
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder<br />
1/2 Cup of Sour Milk or (alternative) buttermilk</p>
<p>Start by mixing everything except the flour for 2 minutes then add the flour by hand and put it on a greased cookie sheet. Make sure they are about 2 inches apart and bake them for about 8 minutes at 400 degrees. After that, let them cool down and add the frosting.</p>
<p><strong>Frosting Recipe for Peppermint Cookies </strong><br />
4 Cups of Powdered Sugar<br />
1 Cup of Butter<br />
2 Teaspoons of Vanilla<br />
2 Tablespoons of Whole Milk<br />
1/2 Teaspoons of Peppermint Extract<br />
1 1/2 Cup of Crushed Peppermint Candy</p>
<p>Add and mix then spread the frosting on the cookies.</p>
